HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE ADMINISTRATOR’S OFFICE:
“White Goods” are now being picked up by the Department of Public Works. You must first call the Department of Public Works at 732-446-6774 to schedule a time for pick up. All items must be placed at curbside by 6:30 AM on your scheduled day. “White Goods” are all appliances (refrigerators/freezers, washing machines, dryers and dishwashers). Please remove all doors from refrigerators and freezers.
The Township Committee has asked all Township residents to join in the effort to help protest the State’s decision to charge Millstone Township for State Police Services. Instead of increasing the property taxes with this charge, we are asking for the State to use alternative solutions, which in turn would avoid unnecessarily increasing local taxes. If you have not already done so, please visit the Township’s web site at www.millstone.nj.us and submit the letter via email to the Governor, State Treasurer, Chief-of-Staff and Legislators.
Energy costs continue to be on the rise. To help reduce the Township’s energy costs, we are exploring alternative fuels and solar initiatives.
